Ski, snowboard and ski jumping competitions will be held either at the current facilities in Palandöken or the new ones to be constructed. The following table shows the distance between the accommodation facilities for the athletes and the officials in the Universiade Village and sporting areas.

Furthermore, starting from 2006, all lifts and other ski equipment will be repaired and renovated. New ski lifts will be constructed if the need arises. All planned facilities will be constructed by the General Directorate of Youth and Sports under the supervision of the Central Government. All necessary budget and investment plans regarding the construction of new facilities have been made and necessary guarantees have been obtained from the Central Government.
